About

I build the infrastructure that keeps SaaS and enterprise platforms alive — automated, observable, and secure across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Over the past 5+ years, I've worked from greenfield cloud builds to complex multi-tenant enterprise architectures. Most recently, I led the end-to-end design and delivery of a real-time IT operations platform for a Fortune-500 enterprise (Deloitte) — integrating 9 enterprise monitoring tools (Dynatrace, SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, Azure Monitor, Nexthink, and more) into a unified AWS data pipeline, and building the full multi-cloud infrastructure that runs it in production.

I thrive in environments where infrastructure needs to move fast without breaking things — working closely with developers, data engineers, and security teams to make sure the platform is never the bottleneck.

Feb 2025 — Present · 1 yr 8 mos
DevOps Engineer
Illinois, United States · Remote · Contract
  • Led the end-to-end design and delivery of a real-time event processing pipeline for a Fortune-500 enterprise client (Deloitte), connecting 9 monitoring sources via real-time webhooks, including Dynatrace, SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, Azure Monitor, Nexthink, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Redgate and EcoStruxure, into AWS Redshift through Lambda, EventBridge and AWS Glue, bringing full IT operations visibility across dev and prod environments in two AWS accounts and two Azure subscriptions.
  • Built and maintained multi-cloud infrastructure spanning AWS, Azure and GCP, covering VPCs, private endpoints, Azure Logic Apps, cross-cloud VPN tunnels, SSL lifecycle automation and MFA via RADIUS, while pushing CIS Security Benchmark compliance from 31% to 90% through AWS Config, Security Hub and automated certificate expiry alerting.
  • Tracked down and resolved critical Redshift performance issues by rolling out concurrency scaling and consumer cluster data sharing, bringing leader node CPU utilization down from 91% to around 60%, then built a cloud cost anomaly detection pipeline that processed 950+ CUR parquet files across AWS, Azure and GCP, cutting raw data noise by roughly 90% through daily aggregation and deduplication.

Unified IT Observability & Incident Intelligence Platform

A real-time, event-driven pipeline that unifies alerts and events from 9 enterprise monitoring tools into one AWS data platform, powering ML-based incident insights, live operational dashboards and enriched ServiceNow tickets for a Fortune-500 enterprise.

The challenge

IT operations data was spread across many separate monitoring tools covering infrastructure, network, database, endpoint and digital-experience monitoring. Each had its own console and its own alert format, so there was no single place to see what was happening, correlate incidents or measure operational health.

Architecture

Architecture: 9 monitoring sources send webhooks to an AWS Lambda receiver, events are routed through Amazon EventBridge, transformed and loaded by AWS Glue into Amazon Redshift, which feeds ML model processing, metrics dashboards and ServiceNow incident enrichment.MONITORING SOURCESAzure MonitorDynatraceEcoStruxureNexthinkOracle EMRedgateRedgate SDTSolarWindsThousandEyesINGESTROUTETRANSFORMSTOREWebhook receiverAWS LambdaEvent routingAmazon EventBridgeTransform & loadAWS GlueData warehouseAmazon RedshiftCONSUMEML model processingS3 · inference endpointMetrics & dashboardsOperations UIIncident enrichmentServiceNow ticketsRuns in dev & prod2 AWS accounts · 2 Azure subscriptions
Simplified view of the production data flow. Client-internal systems are omitted.

How it works

  1. Ingest. Each monitoring tool pushes its events in real time over HTTPS webhooks to an AWS Lambda-based receiver.
  2. Route. Events are published to Amazon EventBridge, decoupling the sources from downstream processing.
  3. Transform & load. AWS Glue cleans and transforms the data and loads it into Amazon Redshift.
  4. Store. Amazon Redshift is the central warehouse for all operational events and metrics.
  5. Consume. The unified data feeds ML model training and an inference endpoint, live metrics dashboards, and incident enrichment that creates and updates ServiceNow tickets.
